This opportunity involves joining a newly formed team as a Strategy Specialist Maintenance, responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising strategic initiatives to enhance maintenance operations. The role includes analysing current processes, identifying improvement areas, and aligning organisational practices with long-term goals. The ideal candidates will apply their relevant expertise to drive and enhance operational efficiency and support sustainable growth.
Multiple positions are available, starting early 2025, based in Adelaide, with an initial 6-month onsite training and onboarding. This role suits recent STEM graduates with 1–2 years of experience; fixed plant experience is desirable but not essential.
Strategy Specialist – Maintenance Fixed Plant
The Strategy Specialist will develop, implement, and optimise strategic initiatives to enhance maintenance operations. This role involves analysing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and driving organisational alignment with long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage their strategic acumen to support digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and facilitate sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Implementation:

Develop maintenance strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Design and implement frameworks to optimise asset and infrastructure maintenance.

Conduct in-depth analysis of current maintenance processes and systems.

Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.

Develop standardised procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Support implementation of digital tools, including predictive maintenance software and asset management systems.

Engage cross-functional teams to gather insights and foster collaboration.

Communicate strategic objectives clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Develop reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.

Identify risks associated with maintenance activities and propose mitigation strategies.

Ensure all maintenance practices align with industry regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:

Education: STEM qualification / bachelor’s degree in engineering

Experience: 1–2-year graduate, experience with fixed plant desirable
